Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy

Introduction:

At Scot Lewis Associates, we are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in all aspects of our business, including but not limited to, recruitment, hiring, and employment. We believe that embracing diversity is not only the right thing to do, but it also makes good business sense and drives innovation, creativity, and success. Our goal is to create a workplace culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and included, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other aspect of their identity.

Policy Statement:

We are committed to the principles of equal opportunity and non-discrimination in all aspects of our business. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation against any employee, candidate, or contractor based on their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other aspect of their identity.

Recruitment and Hiring:

• We will strive to create a diverse pool of candidates for each open position and encourage all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other aspect of their identity.

• We will not use pre-employment screening methods, such as asking about an applicant's race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other aspect of their identity, that may have an adverse impact on a particular group.

• We will provide all candidates with an equal opportunity to interview and compete for open positions and ensure that our hiring processes are fair, transparent, and objective.

• We will monitor our hiring processes to ensure that they are free from bias and that all applicants are treated with respect and dignity.

Workplace Culture:

• We will foster an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel valued, respected, and included.

• We will provide training and education opportunities for all employees to promote DEI and increase understanding and awareness of different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.

• We will support and encourage employee resource groups (ERGs) and other diversity initiatives that promote DEI in the workplace.

• We will regularly assess and evaluate our DEI practices and policies to ensure that they align with our commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Complaint Procedure:

• Employees, candidates, or contractors who feel that they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, or retaliation based on their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other aspect of their identity are encouraged to report such incidents to their supervisor or the Human Resources department.

• All complaints will be promptly, and fairly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken to resolve the matter and prevent future incidents.

• Employees, candidates, or contractors who make a complaint or participate in an investigation will not be subjected to retaliation.

Conclusion:

At Scot Lewis Associates, we are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our business. By embracing diversity, we will create a workplace culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and included and where everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed. We believe that our commitment to DEI will not only benefit our employees and candidates, but also our clients, stakeholders, and the communities in which we operate.
