Operations Business Analyst – Settlements / Collateral Management

My client, a global bank based in London, is looking for a contract Business Analyst to the Derivatives Clearing Team. As part of the  Derivatives Clearing delivery team, the Business Analyst will drive understanding, clean up and remediation of current processes. This will include delivery of root cause analysis, process mapping and data analysis, while supporting architecture design & process change to remediate current process breaks, so leading to increased process automation and scalability.

Key skills:

·         Experience working as a Business Analyst

·         Must have worked in an Investment Bank operations line / change or business change role

·         Ideally day to day settlements processing (in a line / business role)

·         A background in Markets collateral and or settlements processes, and associated controls such as reconciliations

Desirable skills:

·         ETD (Exchange Traded Derivatives – Listed Futures & Options) business and operational process experience at an investment bank

·         Experience of working with industry standard ETD IT systems

·         Experience across trade lifecycle for ETD products and ETD Clearing
