Business Analyst - Asset Servicing - up to £100,000 per annum - London (remote initially) - Full-time
My client is looking for an experienced business analyst for their Asset Servicing team. Candidates must have proven analysis experience on significant Asset Servicing/Corporate Actions projects and a strong track record of requirements specification in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Delivery of Asset Servicing solutions, participating in all phases (e.g. from gathering business requirements, design, configuration, testing support, training to go-live activities)
Owning requirements gathering, participating in workshops with clients to define functional gaps and document
Advising on best-practice for Equity and Fixed Income Asset Servicing processes
Production of thorough and accurate documents to support the conversion/implementations process, including external client training
Support of acceptance testing – specifically resolution of queries and defects
Assistance in the definition of scope, identification and definition of product changes.
Assistance in the Integration of the Asset Servicing Platform with other systems, including the analysis and definition and mapping of data integrations.
Essential Requirements:
Experience of working on Asset Servicing platforms (either in-house or vendor solutions)
Subject matter expertise in all areas of Asset Servicing including Dividends, Coupons, Tax and Corporate Actions (Mandatory and Elective) processing
A thorough understanding of the Asset Servicing lifecycle and components including Event capture (multi-source), Data quality / data cleansing, Position and Transaction eligibility and Entitlement processing.
Product knowledge covering Equity, Fixed Income
Proven capability and track record in gathering, definition and specification of requirements and user stories, supported by excellent communication skills in an agile environment.
